Commission on Filipinos Overseas (CFO) Undersecretary Mary Grace Tirona visited Rosa Farms last January 20, 2013, accompanied by two of her Directors, administrative staff, and CFO Consultant Dean Alegado and his wife, Precy. The CFO party was in Zambales to prepare for their forthcoming event, the Global Summit for Filipinos in the Diaspora, which would have overseas Filipinos from all corners of the globe convene in Manila on February 25-27, 2013.
Rosa Farms hosted Ms. Gertie Tirona and her party with a hearty Farm Fiesta Lunch which included lechon roasted on site at the farm. They not only enjoyed the picnic lunch which had an all-Filipino menu, but also commended the relaxing and nostalgic back-to-nature and joy-of-childhood atmosphere that the farm evoked. They declared that Rosa Farms would be a perfect destination for returning overseas Filipinos for relaxation and reconnecting with their roots.
